One of our favorite places - Whitaker Pond Nature Refuge is about one mile from our house. We usually see ducks and other birds but it was pretty quiet on our recent visit.The walkway takes you down to the pier which lets you stand on top of the water. Love this place.
Would love to experience autumn. Unfortunately, our neck of the woods only have 2 seasons -- the dry, hot summer and rainy months. =)
