Panoramas of PDX





Top image - looking south away from the foundation of the Fremont Bridge toward 'The Pearl - an urban residential area filled with condos, apartments, cafes and galleries. Bottom image -  the Fremont Bridge stretching over the Willamette River as the river meanders through downtown Portland.

  1. These are great! In the top one, I love the repeating, radiating lines of the parking spots and the bridge supports. And in the 2nd one, there is such a feeling of openness, opening up to the sky. Terrific shots!

  2. I love the images you post because they are always so positive, even in the gloom of winter.

    BTW: Many years ago, I showed some paintings with Mario at the long defunct Quartersaw gallery. We didn't spend much time together so he may not remember me. Just thought I'd mention that connection.
